- In partnership with...
Following an early morning meeting yesterday, we can now announce that we have entered into partnership with Binn Group! We were approached by management in November who expressed their aim of introducing a mental health support system within the company in order to further support the health and well-being of their staff. We will be working together to implement this over the course of the year and we may also have a few exciting events coming up... Watch this space! * Check out binn group at www.binngroup.co.uk *
- See us at the Metals Recycling Event 2020!
We are excited to announce that we have been invited to speak at the Metals Recycling Event 2020 in partnership with the Binn Group! Mental health is a little talked about aspect of this male-dominated industry, so it is very refreshing to see people proactively engage with charities such as ourself to both encourage and advocate change. It is at Stoneleigh Park in Coventry on 3rd-4th of June; if you are in the area be sure to drop by! More details can be found at: www.metalsrecyclingevent.com We hope to see you there, and as always if you think Speak can help you, or your organisation, then please don't hesitate to get in touch!
- Shout Out UK
Our founder recently had an article published by the award winning 'Shout Out UK' on how film and television inaccurately portray mental illness. The article calls for more companies to have a greater awareness of the impact of their creativity and asks for all those involved in the process to adopt an informed, educated and moral practise. The article has already been shared over 90 times on social media! Check it out below and we'll let you know when the next one is out! https://www.shoutoutuk.org/2018/01/02/psychos-how-film-and-television-distort-the-truth-about-mental-illness/
